Derivative Charts
A derivative chart creates a new chart based upon an original birth chart. This can be a solar return, some other type of return chart or one of the hellenistic 3rd, 7th and 40th days of the Moon. These charts are used to further investigate conditions related to the base chart in more detail. For instance, a solar return chart will show general trends for the year that the solar return is in effect. A Venus return will show the native's relationships, finances, and leisure for the time starting with the return of Venus, etc...
