City Field
Typing in the city name will cause the atlas to look for an alphabetical match while you are typing:
Pressing the enter key will select that location. Keep in mind that there might be more than one location with the same name, so if there is more than one location, you should compare the latitude, longitude and county information to see if that is the correct location:
If an asterisk appears to the right of the city name, that is the primary city for the given state. Automatically, the time zone and type are automatically filled in for that location and date. You can manually select a new time zone from the drop down list if you wish, but it is not recommended unless you are sure of what you are doing. (Some people prefer to adjust the time to standard time before doing a lookup, so may need to select the standard time variation).
